Payroll & Pensions Assistant

Salary: up to £30K dependant on experience

Location: Aylesbury with hybrid working arrangements

This is initially offered as temporary role which could become permanent for the right candidate.

This is a great opportunity for a Payroll & Pensions Assistant to join a £200m division of a major company.

As Payroll & Pensions Assistant, you will ensure the timely and accurate payroll processing & pension administration, acting as the first point of contact with the payroll team.

Key responsibilities will include:

Monitoring the payroll inbox and undertaking all temporary payroll input
Acting as first point of contact for all payroll related queries
Processing and uploading weekly and monthly reports
Providing 1st line support to employees and managers
Processing New starters, leavers and changes in the payroll system
Processing sickness
Overseeing maternity, paternity, and other statutory leave
Managing Childcare vouchers
Processing pension changes
Processing of retirements
Issuing P45s
Managing all pension related queries
Processing salary confirmations on the pension portalTo be successful in this role as Payroll & Pensions Assistant, candidates must have the following skills and attributes:

Experience of working in Payroll, experience with iTrent would be an advantage but not essential.
Experience of Pension administration
Good working knowledge MS Office
Excellent communication and organisational skills
CIPP Qualification would be an advantage but not essential
