JOB DESCRIPTION: Trainee Sales Engineer, Internal Technical Sales
As our Trainee Sales Engineer, you’ll learn all the dynamics of our business. You’ll work closely with our senior technical sales team to enhance your business development skills and our technical service team will increase your engineering knowledge. You’ll become an expert in the air compressor industry and we’ll support you every step of the way so you become a great salesperson and an invaluable member of our team.
Our client base is very broad and you’ll be selling to a wide range of market sectors including:
· Automotive & aviation
· Engineering and manufacturing
· Food & beverage
· Healthcare and pharmaceutical
· Scientific

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Trainee Sales Engineer, Internal Technical Sales
As our Trainee Sales Engineer you’ll:
· Understand our clients needs and provide them with some of the best technical solutions available
· Generate new business to increase our revenue
· Develop energy saving strategies for customers
· Provide excellent aftersales support ensuring our customers keep coming back
· Work closely with all departments within the business to continue growing your knowledge of the business and the air compressor market
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Trainee Sales Engineer, Internal Technical Sales
To become our Trainee Sales Engineer, you MUST have an engineering or technical background (either by qualification or experience) and ideally some business-to-business sales experience.
We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience in air compressors, pumps, pneumatics hoses and fitting systems, but full training will be given.
Regardless of your engineering / technical background, it’s vital that you:
· Are motivated and determined to build a career for yourself
· Willing to learn from our industry experts
· Have good people skills and can develop and nurture relationships with our customers
· Understand the importance of great customer service
