Position Title: CAD Designer
Location: Aylesbury
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed product designs, manufacturing strategies, cost estimations, and documentation.
* Collaborate closely with the technical team to comprehend customer requirements and devise solutions, leveraging existing products where applicable.
* Lead technical and sales initiatives, managing projects efficiently.
* Assist in quoting parts during peak periods or staff absences.
* Maintain accurate records within the company's engineering framework using the ERP system.
* Edit customer CAD files for quoting purposes.
* Proficiency in surfacing for press tool development is advantageous.
* Generate engineering drawings for internal and external use.

* Availability to participate in customer meetings to discuss requirements and capabilities.
Experience:
* 2-5+ years of experience in a mechanical design engineering role.
