Job Description

The primary responsibilities for the Business Development Manager will be to manage and develop existing relationships whilst identifying new opportunities across the UK.

Further responsibilities include:-

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

* Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, trends, and emerging opportunities in the waste water industry.

* Analyse market data to develop targeted strategies for business growth.

Client Acquisition:

* Identify and engage potential clients through a combination of networking, cold calling, and targeted outreach.

* Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organisations.

Solution Presentation:

* Collaborate with technical teams to understand and effectively communicate waste water solutions to clients.

* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to showcase KEE's capabilities.

Negotiation and Deal Closing:

* Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts, ensuring terms are favourable for both parties.

* Close deals and facilitate the on-boarding process.

Relationship Management:

* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.

Forecasting and Reporting:

* Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports to track progress towards targets.

* Provide regular updates to the management team on business development activities and achievements.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Business Development Manager will:-

* Have a successful B2B sales background selling a technical product, preferably in the waste water industry.

* Have exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong eye for detail.

* Be a determined, self-starter and enthusiastic individual who can work autonomously as well as within a team.

* Be able to work with multiple stakeholders at various levels and leads from the front.

* Be able to travel frequently to the Head office in Aylesbury.
