ASSISTANT STORES CONTROLLER – AYLESBURY £21,000 – £23,000
Based in Aylesbury, our client is a well-established privately owned manufacturing company providing high quality products and services to a diverse range of industries.
Experiencing continuous growth, the company now wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive individual to provide assistance in the Stores Operation. Working alongside the Stores Supervisor, the Assistant Stores Controller position will be a very hands-on role with a variety of tasks including:
* Fork Truck Driving (training will be provided if required) for receipt of goods from Suppliers.
* Updating and processing of delivery notes.
* Stock location and allocation utilising stock control system.
* Stock allocation to production areas in the workshop.
* Collating stock from stores locations and delivering to production locations.
* Assisting with wrapping, packing and crating of products.
* Assisting in maintaining clean and efficient stores environment.
This role will play an important part in ensuring the efficiency of production and will require attention to detail and, whilst some experience of stores or warehousing would be beneficial, flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing requirements is more important as there might be a requirement to support production assembly tasks from time to time.
