Account Manager – Events

Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for an experienced Account Manager for our Events client based in Aylesbury. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the overall operation of all Events from enquiry to event completion, building your own portfolio of clients.

Salary: up to £30,000 (DOE)

Hours: 8am-4pm/9am-5pm Office based work.

Duties:
Liaising with clients daily to organise events from enquiry through to completion
Preparing quotations and presentations for a variety of different events whilst keeping up to date with pricing and trends to remain competitive within our market.
Negotiating quoting and budget processes with clients and suppliers to ensure budgets and profit margins are adhered to
Managing a large volume of information and processing through various contact means and documentation (e.g., phone calls, email correspondence, office package etc)
Able to multi-task and manage multiple events / tasks at any given time, whilst ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded
Organising and managing all event logistics to include tasks such as scheduling necessary equipment, booking transport, sourcing, and booking accommodation and travel, any other operational and administrative event related tasks. 
Daily communication with internal departments within the company – such as the warehouse, finance team, health, and safety departments.
 Building relationships with clients to secure repeat business.

Requirements:
Computer literate and experience using Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
Previous experience managing clients
Previous event experience is advantage
