Help us make a difference as a Waste Management Executive (Customer Service) based in Aylesbury.

A quick look at the role:

To be primary contact to respond and resolve customer enquiries, complaints and order requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner
To perform follow up calls on customer enquiries, complaints and orders to assure follow-through, completion and satisfaction
To set-up and maintain accurate and timely customer profile for all customer interactions. This includes contacts, orders, service courtesy calls and surveys
To meet agreed daily and weekly customer service centre activity and retention goals
To liaise with other departments within Biffa to resolve issues
To respond sensitively and professionally to all inbound telephone, fax, email and web queries and enquiries regarding any Biffa product, service or other issue
To input accurate information into the system
To build and develop effective internal and external relationships
To recognise trends and identify and implement service/process improvements/opportunities
To make outbound courtesy calls to customers ensuring service standards are as they should be
To accurately process payment transactions where applicable
To formulate reports for renewals and process renewal forms received by post (GWC ONLY)
To resolve all enquiries and queries effectively and within the service level agreements
To be first point of contact for operational depot assisting with administration and queries
To take responsibility for specific club and all administrative duties required to include regular data cleanse exercises (GWC ONLY)Requirements

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Preferably 1 years' experience within a customer service environment
Knowledge of the Waste Management Industry (preferred)
Process fundamental knowledge and skills regarding all dimensions of company services provided
Knowledge of a Customer Information Database and other customer related database knowledge and skills
Computer literate (Microsoft Office packages, e-mail)
Ability to manage own workload effectively and efficiently.
Able to communicate effectively in writing, on a 1:1 basis and by phone with a range of people including management, team members, internal and external customers
Organised, able to plan and prioritise
Able to problem solve
Ability to keep to strict deadlinesBenefits
