Salary: £28,000 (Additional £2,000 annual shift allowance if working PM shift)
We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of up to 50 staff in a busy and growing warehouse. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of warehouse operations, providing leadership and guidance to your team, whilst maintaining a high standard of quality control. Working alongside the Warehouse Manager, you will monitor pick rates, control shortfalls and picking errors and provide coaching to ensure service levels are achieved.

This role offers Monday-Friday fixed shifts of either 6am-2pm (AM shift) or 2pm-10pm (PM shift).
Manage a team of Warehouse Operatives to ensure their daily tasks are completed, meeting the daily KPIs.
Ensuring the accuracy and completion of all orders and shipments, whilst maintaining high standards of quality control.
Coach, motivate, train and develop your team to achieve objectives and compliance with Company policies and procedures, addressing any shortfalls in performance.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Facilitate effective communication through regular feedback and ensuring team briefs are conducted to ensure all colleagues are informed of any changes and have up to date business information.
Ensuring that warehouse operations are carried out in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, in compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Supporting a culture of continuous improvement and promoting a positive working environment.
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in a warehouse or Distribution Centre environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
Ability to define performance measures, analyse data to improve operation and reduce costs.
Health & Safety awareness and understanding, and a commitment to safe working practices.
Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software applications.
High enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
