They are looking for a graduate from a chemistry or pharmaceutical / cosmetic background with some experience in a similar role and similar industry to join as a Technical Product Manager. The candidate will have an opportunity to travel frequently, within the UK and overseas to conferences and events.
Job Responsibilities:
The Technical Product Manager will join the UK Sales tea to maintain excellent relationships with the suppliers and customers, developing new business and giving technical support to the customers R&D team. This role is to enable the company to provide suppliers and customers with excellence in innovation and customer service.
Developing a strong technical understanding of their suppliers and ranges including the chemistry, and characteristics of their formulations
Understanding supplier and customer needs
Providing feedback from their markets, sales forecasting, product analysis to suppliers, to develop growth strategies
Supporting the sales team in managing supplier relationships, meetings and other events in UK and Europe
Using commercial awareness to help their sales team maximise market share opportunities
Developing optimum product focus in markets
Identifying new business opportunities
Job Requirements:
Essential:
A 2:1 or above degree in a Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Science / Cosmetics Science or Life Science related subject
Experience in a similar role
Must have a full UK driving license
Outgoing personality, drive and self-motivation
Flexibility to travel across a selected territory as well as internationally
