SENDhelp is working alongside our partner school based in Aylesbury who are currently recruiting for SEND Teaching Assistants to work in a special needs school situated on the out skirts of Aylesbury.

As our new Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a school that inspires young people to be successful learners enabling them to achieve in a caring and supportive environment, regardless of their needs.

Your new school is a flourishing and thriving purpose build school that is fortunate to have wonderful facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, a multi-sensory, a soft play centre, a library, an observational mirror room, 2 therapy swing rooms, a theatre, and a training suite. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will join us, and our partner school in strongly believing in the benefits of multi-professional working, and have on site speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and a school nurse. Our partner school are also proud to have multiple outdoor play areas featuring numerous pieces of activity equipment, along with a dedicated muga. With all these wonderful facilities and resources to hand, as the schools newest Teaching assistant, you will be able to make a huge difference to the pupils' lives.

Our partner school is a large primary special school for children with a broad diversity of complex needs including Profound and Multiple Needs (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). Almost half of the pupils at our school have an additional diagnosis of an autistic spectrum condition (ASD).
