Blueprint recruitment is working with a leading Solutions and Engineering Consultancy, who are seeking a motivated System Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. This position offers the flexibility for the successful candidate to work on a hybrid basis, attending the Aylesbury office 3 days per week to work on major Railway Projects. Our client has built an excellent reputation for offering services in a variety of sectors, including Water, Transport, Energy, Industrial and Waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence that safety requirements are met
Develop and maintain a close relationship with clients
Assist the Employer in obtaining fully accepted transfer forms
Update and maintain the System Safety Status Reports
Work with the Employer to address findings from the Assessment Body
Implement corrective actions and improvements as neededKey Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in System Safety Engineering, preferably in rail or infrastructure projects
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on evidence collection and documentation
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including the Employer and assessment bodies
Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations
Chartered Engineer or working towards is preferred
Experience of the application of system safety assurance processes in major railway projects
Able to work independently and as part of a ream when necessaryBenefits:
