Supply Teacher
Attention all qualified teachers in Aylesbury! Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding role that fits around your schedule? Look no further! We are currently seeking a supply teacher with QTS to work in a variety of different schools on a daily supply and short-term basis.
As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a range of different school environments, from small village schools to large city academies. You will be responsible for delivering lessons across a variety of subjects, and with no planning or marking required, you can simply turn up and deliver!
Responsibilities:
Delivering lessons: You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and informative lessons across a range of subjects, adapting to the needs of different schools and students.
Classroom management: You will be expected to maintain good discipline and order in the classroom, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Building relationships: You will need to build positive and professional relationships with students, staff, and parents, communicating effectively and supporting the needs of each individual.
Following school policies: You will need to adhere to the policies and procedures of each school, including behaviour management, safeguarding, and health and safety.
Providing feedback: You will need to provide feedback to the school and regular teacher on the progress of students, including any areas of concern or improvement.

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must have QTS to be considered for this role. This ensures that you have the necessary training and expertise to deliver high-quality lessons and manage a classroom effectively.
Experience: While experience as a supply teacher is desirable, we welcome applications from all qualified teachers, including newly qualified teachers. You should have experience teaching in a classroom environment and be confident in your ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects.
Flexibility: As a supply teacher, you will need to be flexible and adaptable, able to work in a variety of different schools and classrooms. You should also be able to respond to short-notice requests for cover, and be willing to travel to different locations within the Aylesbury area.
Good communication skills: You should be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents, building positive relationships and providing feedback on progress and concerns.
Classroom management skills: You should have good classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain good discipline and order in the classroom, while creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
