Position: Setting Out Engineer
Location: Aylesbury
Type: Long-term Contract, Starting 26 June
My client a groundworks subcontractor currently working on a residential construction project in Aylesbury and are looking for a Setting Out Engineer to join their team.
The role will involve setting out of levels, profiles and cross sections, and liaising with contractors on specific aspects of the job such as the location of services.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring the project remains on track.
To be successful for this role, you will need: •Experience in a similar setting out role, ideally in residential construction •A good understanding of surveying techniques and data analysis. •Experience using total stations and other survey equipment •The ability to read and understand construction drawings •Good communication and organisational skills •The ability to work in a safe and compliant manner.
