New Hybrid Senior Industrial Innovation Engineer role in Buckinghamshire for a work leader in Aerospace!!
A very exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading manufacturer within aerospace to act as the bridge between Industrialization team, Suppliers and the Engineering team to ensure completion of fit for purpose products optimized for manufacturability, test and cost – with a focus on working within and across all engineering teams to define product and component key characteristics, auditing and feedback on lessons learned.
As a Senior Industrial Innovation Engineer you will be responsible for managing the improvement of product and project processes within a busy manufacturing facility. You will support the business in implementing and improving new processes using a range of tools and methodologies including 5s, FMEA and six sigma.
Main Responsibilities for the Senior Industrial Innovation Engineer job:
* Implement processes and methodologies.
* Support both product development and assembly ensuring process changes comply with industry and product standards
* Lead Investigations for operational issues.
* Implement Automation processes
Skills / Experience required for this Senior Industrial Innovation Engineer job:
* Proven experience in a Manufacturing/Engineering
* Must have experience in automation implementation and manufacturing processes
* Experience working in busy manufacturing facility (component manufacture would be ideal)
* Strong understanding in using production data to drive process improvements.
