We are supporting an award-winning national care provider looking to appoint a Registered Service Manager with a strong management background in Supported Living settings to oversee a service with 14 people with various disabilities in Aylesbury.
Applicants should have a strong background of working with people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, Autism and acquired brain injury.
A minimum of a Level 5 qualification is required for this role.
THIS IS A GREAT JOB, WORKING FOR A FANTASTIC PROVIDER.
As the Registered Manager you will be required to manage all aspects of running the services including; supervision of staff, care planning, rotas, training, quality assurance, budget management, finances and management of medication.
You will work with the people supported and their families, supporting them in the decisions they make about how they live their lives and ensuring that personal needs are met.
We want someone able to create a culture of team development and team working that inspires the delivery of best practice for individuals using our service.
You will need to have experience of management of supported living services and should have an track record in leading and developing teams, whilst juggling budgets and resources, ensuring outstanding delivery in all areas.
We are therefore looking for someone driven, organised, proactive and flexible, with excellent relationship-building and communication skills!
Applicants MUST have: –
and experience of successfully leading and developing regional staff teams who supported adults with learning disabilities and associated needs.
* QCF Level 5 or working towards one (or equivalent)
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
* Experience of managing learning disabilities services
* A thorough understanding of complex needs care
* Experience of collaborating with local Authorities, Commissioners, families and other stakeholders
* Effective budget and resource management skills
* Outstanding leadership skills
