The company & role
Our client is a leading engineering manufacturer in the Aylesbury area and they are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Goods Inwards Inspector to join their production team. As a Goods Inwards Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the company receives high-quality materials and equipment, which are essential to maintaining excellent product standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a goods inwards quality inspection role, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be results-driven.
Responsibilities:
Work in accordance with the internal Quality Management System.
Carry out final inspections and packing of various pieces of equipment/materials.
Complete and sign the works tickets and applicable quality assurance plans for the completed tasks as instructed.
Carry out inspecting and booking in of raw materials and goods using the internal ERP system.
Plan and prioritize workload effectively.
Maintain systems and procedures.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Person Requirements:
Previous experience in a quality inspection role.
Ideally experience working within a engineering OR manufacturing environment.
Ability to plan and prioritize workload effectively.
Ability to maintain systems and procedures.
Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Clarity of view and focus on objectives; results-driven.
