Location: Aylesbury – with Hybrid working, 2 days in office, 3 days site visits/remote
Duration: 3 Months +
Rate: £45 – £50 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 37 per week

My client is looking for a Principle Energy Officer to join their busy team in Aylesbury.
Responsibilities include:
·To lead and/or support on the identification, development and delivery of energy and water related projects within the service. This includes but is not limited to: energy and water efficiency, procurement and contract management work, consumption/generation and billing monitoring; renewable and alternative energy initiatives; process development; data analysis and reporting; and providing technical support. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and some external stakeholders
·Customer facing
·Dealing with inbound and outbound calls
·Use of computer applications:
oMicrosoft Office, Excel Word, Outlook
oTeams
oSpecific work based software (familiarisation training provided)
Skills and experience:
·Supply contract management experience
·Experience in the field of energy management
·Understanding of energy systems and associated best practice
·Experience with energy efficiency, renewable energy, and/or alternative energy projects
·Delivery of energy monitoring and management improvement projects across multiple sites
·Ability to create and use spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, report writing and general documents
·Use of cost-benefit analysis, return on investment and/or other financial models
