Primary Teacher – Maternity Cover
A prominent primary school in Aylesbury is seeking a talented Key Stage 2 teacher to join their team on a one-year contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The school is located in a brand new development and offers state-of-the-art facilities, creating a dynamic and conducive learning environment.
As a Key Stage 2 teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Developing and delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students in Key Stage 2
Building positive and effective learning environments
Continuously monitoring and assessing student progress, providing both students and parents with constructive feedback
Working collaboratively with colleagues to plan lessons and provide extra support to students as needed
Participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance teaching practices
Adhering to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
A comprehensive understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment processes
A proven record of improving student achievement
Strong classroom management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The willingness to commit to a one-year contract with the possibility of becoming permanent
The school offers a daily pay rate ranging from MPS1 to MPS6 starting after Easter.
