Experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (PBS), Full Time, Permanent, job vacancy within commuting distance from Leighton Buzzard or Aylesbury area of Buckinghamshire as well as the Hemel Hempstead area of Hertfordshire or surrounding towns.

Benefits & Essential Criteria
* £33K per annum.
* A good level of PBS Behaviour Support or Applied Behaviour background. PBS / ABA
* Will consider applicants from a Psychology / Psychologist Assistant background.
* Extensive development opportunities are available.
* Hold Qualification in Positive Behaviour Support, Behaviour Analysis or Psychology at degree level.
* Opportunity to gain further qualifications, including master’s degree.
* Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle.

Your Role
Working alongside a fantastic Manager with over 15 years’ experience, this is a unique opportunity to work with a fantastic team. As the Positive Behaviour Support Specialist, you will build relationships with specialist colleagues, the people you support, and their families and support network.
* Behaviour assessments & understanding a person’s learning history and how the current environment supports learning and engagement.
* Develop a therapeutic model of PBS that supports to overcome barriers to learning.
* Specialist risk assessments.
* Working alongside the person’s circle of support and colleagues to implement the person’s plans and create an enabling environment.
