An exciting Opportunity has become available for Maintenance Shift Engineers to join a company who is a world leader in packaging solutions. This role is a full-time permanent positions based Aylesbury.

Key Responsibilities:

Take responsibility for self and others in all matters of Health and Safety. Always act and carry out tasks in a safe manner as per site/corporate requirements.
Operate in a manner that adheres to Food Safety and Quality standards. Report any deviations from standard.
Carry out daily planned work tasks as per the weekly plan and at the direction of the Engineering Lead.
Provide reactive support for any unexpected failures of plant and equipment.
Report all work activity using CMMS. Raise and complete work orders as necessary.
Be present at handovers and complete handover board at shift end.
Report any stock level issues. Source parts and obtain quotations as needed.
Share knowledge and update procedures if necessary.
Be proactive in promoting a planned maintenance culture – be one step ahead of the failure.
Don't accept the status quo, look for improvement in all that we do.
Participate in RCA and BDA activity when required.
Train and nurture withing the engineering/operational team. Develop others and self when opportunities arise.
Partake in external and internal training.The Successful candidate will have a “can do, will do”. Ideally you will be electrically qualified to NVQ level 3 with background of Automated FMCG and maintenance. My client likes to invest in their people therefore they will offer training and support to the right candidate.

The Salary for the Position is £36,000

The working hours for this role is 4 on 4 off rotating days (7am-7pm) & nights (7pm-7am).
