Learning and Development Mentor
Salary: £24,500 rising to £29,250 + Bonus
Permanent role, school term time only
As a Learning and Development Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future generation by providing mentorship, guidance and support to students within schools. Collaborating with one of the UK's leading educational providers, your mission will be to empower young individuals with confidence, self-esteem and a growth mindset. This unique opportunity allows you to leverage your own life experiences and skills, gained from ex-service or ex-forces backgrounds, to positively impact the lives of students.
Responsibilities include:
Provide Mentoring and Support:
Engage with students to provide one-on-one or group mentoring sessions.
Foster a positive and supportive environment to enhance students' well-being.
Empower students to overcome challenges and develop their character-building skills.
Deliver Bespoke Training Programs:
Collaborate with the team to design and deliver customised training programs.
Address specific needs, focusing on raising confidence and self-esteem among students.
Promote a growth mindset approach to encourage continuous learning and improvement.
Act as an Inspirational Role Model:
Serve as an inspirational role model for students, promoting positive behaviour and attitudes.
Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional growth.
Develop Strong Communication:
Communicate effectively with students, staff and parents/guardians.
Present engaging and motivating sessions to capture students' attention and interest.
Continuous Personal Development:
Exhibit a strong dedication to self-development and continuous improvement.
Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance mentoring skills.

All successful candidates will have an initial interview via Teams this week and then if successful, will be asked to attend an assessment day in Shoreditch on Thursday 27th July.
