This is a unique exciting for a Graduate Civil Engineer to work mainly on site in a variety of local areas across Buckinghamshire. It is an opportunity to work within a highly successful team delivering a variety of civil and structural work within the rail infrastructure.
Salary: £25k+ per annum
Car Allowance: £5k
Accommodation Allowance: £16k
The role will involve mainly working on HS2 across 30km of railway across Aylesbury.
The candidates will be responsible for working on a range of embankment schemes initially through to larger schemes such as bridge refurbishments (grit blast and paint, steel works, waterproof injection etc etc), building refurbishment works, tunnels rehabilitation works, platform end gates and drainage relining works etc.
-Ensure the commercial performance of the contract is maximised
-Deliver the work safely and without environmental incidents
-Deliver the work to the specified quality without defects Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP’s, WPP’s and waste management plans
– Assist with producing and managing the project programme and produce 3 weeks look ahead
– Assist with producing procurement schedules and liaise with the production teams to ensure sites have adequate resources to complete the tasks
– Assist with planning, coordinating and managing site supervisors and subcontractor elements to ensure compliance with safety, specifications, remits and budgets
– Assist with coordinate and planning resource to deliver the works
The successful Site Engineer MUST have a degree in civil engineering. You will also be able to demonstrate a desire to progress.
