Job Title: Fire Risk Consultant

Level of Experience: Trainee Fire Risk Consultant through to Lead Fire Risk Consultant
Profile: An independent and expanding Fire Risk Consultancy, are currently looking to recruit a hardworking and self-motivated Fire Risk Consultant to join their team. The successful candidate will be home-based, working on multi-storey commercial and domestic properties across the Home Counties area. The ideal candidate will ideally hold industry recognised fire risk qualifications such as; the NEBOSH fire safety / NEBSOH general qualification and experience carrying out fire drills, completing pre-occupation surveys, fire risk assessments and creating site specific emergency evacuation plans. Experience & Qualifications:
” Will ideally hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion or NEBOSH general certificates.
” Ideally will be registered to a industry recognised body e.g. ISE / IFSM / IFPO / IFE.
” Extensive experience working within the Fire / Health and Safety industry, ideally working hands on as a Fire Risk Consultant.
” Will have a solid consultancy and come from a technical background.
” Experience using industry relevant systems.
” Will have an eye for detail, and excellent working knowledge on relevant Health and Safety legislations.
” Good communication skills.
” Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
The Role:
” Undertaking pre-occupation surveys, fire risk assessments, evacuation plans, and site-specific emergency plans.
” Working closely with Health and Safety / Management team to ensure all policies are being followed in line with ISO.
” Assisting in training of Risk Assessors.
” Undertaking Fire drills when required.
” Liaising with clients following on from Risk Assessments, providing any technical advice and answering any queries.
” Producing detailed site reports to clients.
” Continuing to build excellent relationships with clients.
” Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, in line with Health and Safety legislations.
” Provide technical support to the company's clients.
