IN2 Consult – Financial Reporting Manager – Aylesbury – £58,000 to £63,500 per annum plus 6% bonus – 2 days a week in the office – Full-time, Permanent – Producing financial reports monthly, quarterly and annually, group level consolidations and team management of 3 people.
IN2 Consult is supporting a UK based client of ours with the recruitment of a Financial Reporting Manager position. This role will report into the Head of Finance and will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, quarterly reports, year end financial statements as well as managing a team of 3. The position will also be responsible for consolidating financial reports monthly, quarterly and annually. This is a full-time, permanent position and will require you to travel to the office 2 days a week.
The experience this Financial Reporting Manager vacancy requires:
ACCA or CIMA qualified
Minimum of 3 years producing management accounts and year end statutory accounts
Team management experience of at least 2 finance professionals
Reporting experience under UK GAAP
Reporting experience under Housing SORP – HIGHLY DESIRABLE
Consolidation experience monthly, quarterly and annually – HIGHLY DESIRABLE
Key duties involved for this Financial Reporting Manager vacancy:
Preparation of the group’s budget, to an agreed timetable, in consultation with budget holders. Lead on the annual budget process to ensure effective communication and timely submission of the budget for approval.
Preparation of monthly management accounts, to an agreed timetable, in conjunction with budget holders to ascertain required explanations / proposed actions.
Prepare the Quarterly financial reports to Senior Leadership including variance analysis to the budget and forecast as well as producing a high level summary
Produce the year end statutory accounts and be the main point of contact for the external audit.
Oversee timely submission of the regulatory returns to the Regulator, Funders and other statutory bodies. Ensure timely submission of data for external benchmarking.
Work closely with the Financial Services Manager on finance system development and enhancements with particular focus on systems used for management accounts reporting, forecasting and purchase ordering.
Oversee provision of proactive and value added finance business partnering services to the operational teams. Provide assistance and training where required and ensure regular communication is maintained with all budget holders.
Lead, motivate and support the Assistant Management Accountants and Finance Business Partner to provide a professional and high quality customer focused service to internal and external customers.
