Based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire our client is an exciting and expanding company looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent.
This job would suit an individual with experience in Sales Ledger to assist the Finance Manager with all sales ledger transactions and various other finance tasks for group companies.
The successful individual will have some sales ledger experience with an analytical mind and a good working knowledge of databases and Microsoft packages. You must be able to hit the ground running and have a strong organisational and good communication skills. This is suited for a flexible team player with excellent data entry detail as well as the ability to work in a structured repetitive role requiring high levels of concentration. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, customer focused and be willing to adapt and learn new skills.
Download bank transactions
Post receipts onto the finance system
Raise all invoices from information received by all channels
Perform all checks prior to payrun
Produce pay run detail for payroll
Ensure all inboxes are actioned and cleared before daily pay run & end of the day
Produce relevant account statements
