About The Role
 
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineer and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. 
 
We are seeking a stakeholder engagement professional with significant experience in rail, highways, construction or a related industry to inform, involve and respond to community needs. You will be based near Aylesbury three-days per week with flexible/remote working for the remaining two-days. Due to the rural nature of the area and limited public transport, you will need to be able to drive or travel independently (occasionally at short notice) during the working week. You will also be required to occasionally attend meetings/events outside of normal office hours.
 
You'll be the main point of contact for local community groups on behalf of the Integrated Project Team. This role may also act as a main point of contact for other stakeholders as appropriate, across a wider footprint.
 
In this role you will develop and maintain the Local Area Engagement Plan for a nominated project area. We also expect you to plan, develop and deliver engagement activities along the route with comply with the HS2 Community Engagement Framework.
 
You'll seek to reduce response times for enquiries and complaints for your dedicated section. You will also support our Public Response Manager and the HS2 Complaints Team in meeting the relevant KPI's.
 
Working with project delivery teams, you will have an up to date knowledge of our design, scope of works and construction methodology for your area. We also expect you to manage appropriate Undertakings and Assurances related to engagement.

About The Candidate
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of the rail / infrastructure / construction industries
Excellent communication skills and the ability to form strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
You must be flexible with regards to your work location
You must be able to work independently and you'll also need to be a proactive individual
Relevant A level or Degree qualifications are welcomed
