ECT Primary Teacher – Outskirts of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire – A new and 'Good' Primary School – Contract up until the end of the academic year – £135 to £195 per day

This modern and ambitious Academy have made a name for themselves in the local community for their caring, passionate and forward-thinking culture. They have been rated as 'Good' in their first Ofsted inspection, since their inception in 2017. The Academy are going through a stage of growth with a new extension, to suffice the needs of the local community. The SLT are very supportive and wanting their team of staff to excel, giving ample opportunities to upskill themselves. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door as a superb Primary School, to learn off the best in class teachers. High potential to make this a permanent placement with the school from September 2023. The Academy are looking to bring in an energetic, knowledgeable and hardworking ECT to assist with PPA Cover, general cover and to plan and deliver their own classes.
As a Primary ECT, you will be responsible for:
QTS attained
Clear understanding of the principals of effective teaching
Ability to motivate, engage and progress pupils from all backgrounds
Understanding of SEN and EAL teaching
Desire to be a full-time class teacher between Year 1 to 6
Desire to improve teaching through continual professional development
