Temporary Assignment available for a Data Verification Administrator until 30 June 2023. Successful candidate will be working remotely/from home, however from time to time or when required, the role will involve attending meetings within Buckinghamshire.
Assist in collating and verifying financial evidence to process grant claims.
Reconciling a purchase invoice/s to bank statement/s, in line with the original Grant Offer conditions made to an applicant.
Completing relevant forms with accuracy, to support payment of grant, utilising Microsoft Excel.
Eye for detail and accuracy essential.
Assist in verifying energy savings post project installation.
Compare energy/utility use datasets from two distinct time periods, and demonstrate how patterns of usage have altered, extrapolating data from time periods of varying lengths.
Demonstrate calculations of varying complexity concisely and clearly in a simple and easy to understand way.
Determine the type of utility that may be saved with low carbon interventions, and convert this to a CO2e equivalent using DEFRA emission figure.
Create documents to a specified template structure, using Microsoft Word
All the above can be taught/learnt when joining (as this is specific knowledge). It’s intended to help demonstrate the type of person who would fit this role well.
Due to the nature of these tasks, it would require someone who is happy to work on Excel. Whilst you don’t have to have advanced skills, being comfortable in using the program would be a must! Ideally, someone who is numbers minded / data crunching etc.
Whilst there is a real variety to the types of projects in the role, this work will be somewhat repetitive and requires a large turnover of the above tasks per month.
