An opportunity for a Civil Engineering Technician has arisen for a consultancy in Aylesbury.
Main duties:
Preparation of preliminary surface and foul water drainage designs and drawings.
Preparation of sustainable drainage concepts and designs for projects.
Production of the development of utility reports and liaison with third parties.
Production of initial junction designs
Assist with site inspections / reviews and analyse data.
Preparation of reports such as flood risk assessments, transport statements and utility reports.
Use of CAD and other computerised design systems.
Key skills:
Experience in AutoCAD or similar software
Working towards or holding a Civil Engineering qualification.
Some experience in a similar role.
Working knowledge of MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, or FLOW.
Working knowledge of UK codes of Practices and Design Standards for highways and drainage.
