Madisons are recruiting for a Construction Buyer for sites covering Aylesbury.

Candidate must have experience working as a Buyer in the Construction industry.

All sites are within London and accessible via public transport.

Buyer duties:

The role will entail measuring all the materials needed on construction projects
Liaising with site managers
Working alongside quantity surveyors and the accounts team
Obtaining the necessary materials
Monitoring and allocating the invoices as they come in against the purchase orders and package allowances
Very general and simple document controlling
Negotiating with suppliers
Regular site visits
Candidates must have:

Minimum 4 years experience as a buyer within the construction industry
Ideally within the construction and residential industry
BE competent with all IT systems and Microsoft products
Comfortable travelling to sites
Good communication skills
