Temporary – Until April 2023 with potential to extend
Location – Aylesbury based
Work Schedule – Mix of office working and remote work
Hours: Part time, 18.5 hours per week – Monday to Wednesday
Pay Rate – £10.92 per hour

On behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Administrator to join the Business Operations team in Aylesbury. Working alongside the team, you will play an important role in providing administrative support to the Children's Services department

About the role
As a Business Support Administrator, you will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
Provide administrative support to the various teams within Children's Services
Sending out emails to foster carers
Processing expenses
Sending out necessary documents to foster carers (including household reviews, medicals)
Booking appointments
Occasionally minuting meetings
Monitoring and actioning mailbox e.g. requests for laminating, booking meeting rooms, assisting with setting up meetingsThis is a temporary position until 3rd April 2023, though there is potential for this to be extended further. The pay rate is £10.92 per hour, and you will be working part time, 18.5 hours per week from Monday to Wednesday. Buckinghamshire Council are working on a hybrid basis where you will work remotely for 2 days per week and in the office 1 day per week.

The Aylesbury office is conveniently situated in the town centre (HP20 area) with great transport links including a local train station and excellent road connections to the M25, M1, M4 and M40.

About you
The successful candidate(s) should have:
Previous experience working in an administration role or similar
Have an interest in working within Children's Services
Finance experience is ideal but not essential
