The Role & Previous Experience Required:

They currently have an opportunity available to join their team of specialist Researchers on a permanent contract. For this particular role, the specified product area is Banking, which includes products such as current accounts, savings accounts, business accounts, credit cards, and all types of mortgages and loans.

This role is offered on a hybrid of office and home based working.

The role primarily involves;

Researching banking product information using the internet, industry press, and documentation from product providers. Contacting Providers by telephone and/or email to verify product information where necessary
Identifying differences from currently held data and updating the database with new information
Identifying newsworthy information and communicating to relevant individuals within the company
Building effective relationships with product providers to facilitate the acquisition of accurate and up-to-date information

What you’ll need to succeed in this role:

Previous experience working within banking/ the financial services industry
Detailed knowledge of banking products (at least some of the following: mortgages, unsecured loans, current accounts, savings accounts and credit cards) including the ability to understand the terms, conditions and benefits offered by these products
Computer literate, with a good knowledge of Word, Excel and email and the aptitude to learn new software applications quickly
Fast and accurate data entry skills
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
Good verbal communication skills, including a good telephone manner and the ability to persuade others
Good written communication skills
Professional use of English in the workplace
Ability to quickly and accurately extract relevant information from complex written documents and think through the implications

This role is full time, working on a hybrid Office/ Remote basis, circa 3 days in the office, the rest from home. They are happy to talk flexible working and they can offer a unique and interesting role within the financial services industry. The salary for this role is £26.5k, dependent upon the skills, knowledge and experience you can bring to the role.
