Overview
On behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Management Support Officer to join the Asset Management Operations team at the Gateway offices in Aylesbury. Working alongside the Senior Asset Management Support Officer, you will support the Asset Management team in the delivery of the asset and property management of the Council's property portfolio, but the remit extends across Property & Assets
About the role
As an Asset Management Support Officer, you will be assigned a series of tasks which will support the allocation, monitoring and reporting on property-related cases assigned to Asset Managers and the Council's external Asset Management Service Provider. This will include raising purchase orders and obtaining approvals for the payment of invoices, and gathering data for a variety of management performance reports
This is a temporary position until 30 September 2023, though there is potential for this to be extended further. The pay rate is £14.18 per hour, and you will be working full time, 37 hours per week. Buckinghamshire Council are working on a hybrid basis where you will work remotely for 3-4 days per week and in the office 1-2 days per week.
The Aylesbury office is conveniently situated in the town centre (HP19 area) with great transport links including a local train station and excellent road connections to the M25, M1, M4 and M40.
About you
The successful candidate(s) should have:
Experience in working in a high pressure environment and dealing with conflicting priorities
Extensive administration experience, demonstrating an organised approach to achieving multiple tasks set to tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail, demonstrating how this lends to identifying and solving problems
Ability to identify, communicate and contribute to ideas and plans for improving efficiency
Quick to learn
Able to work autonomously, in the main, referring to manager for guidance
